Item Information
Parker manufactures chemical resistant PTFE tubing in industrial wall, heavy wall and metric designs. This flexible, high temperature fluoropolymer tubing operates in temperatures up to 500°F/260°C and is the most chemical and corrosion resistant tubing available from Parker. It is ideal for use in extreme environments. A PTFE tube has a non-stick surface that facilitates flow and eliminates media buildup. In many cases, it is used to replace glass, rubber and stainless steel because of its chemical and corrosion resistance. In equipment applications, the vibration damping properties of PTFE are excellent at both sonic and ultrasonic frequencies. Extruded PTFE tubing is attacked by so few chemicals that it is easier to describe the exceptions rather than list the chemicals it is compatible with. These chemically inert tubes are non-wetting and non-leaching, making them ideal for a wide range of instrumentation tubing applications. And when you need food grade tubing, PTFE is often chosen because it can handle the strong soaps and cleaners used to purge transfer lines, has the lowest coefficient of friction of any plastic and is FDA complaint. PTFE Fractional and Metric smooth bore tubing is supplied in natural but it is also available with a conductive I.D. or as a fully conductive tube to reduce static discharge. Parflex customer service can help you with selection for custom designs, conductive tubing, sizes or colors.

– Life Science
– Food and Beverage
– Semiconductor
– Resistant to extreme heat or cold (-100°F to +500°F)
– Best chemical and corrosion resistance
– Best flex life of all fluoropolymer tubing
– Lowest coefficient of friction of all plastics for easy cleaning
– Non-wetting and non-leaching
– Odorless and tasteless makes it ideal for food and beverage applications
– Resists ultra-violet rays
– Self-extinguishing plastic
– Chemical/Corrosive applications
– Medical devices
– Analytical instruments
– Instrumentation
– Laboratory
– Food/Beverage processing

OUR WEBSITE DATA

Data within our Vehicle Application, Cross Reference, Filter Kit and Size listings are provided as a guide only, for full compatibility ensure all our specifications match your requirements.

OUR INLINE PART NUMBERS

Inline Filters full internal Part Numbers are prefixed with FIN e.g. FIN-FF33333 and carry the bulk of our Catalogue information which includes Cross Reference, Vehicle Applications, Size and Specifications data.

These Filters will always be sourced from a quality brand just not Brand Specific, this enables us to offer our Inline range of Filters at the best Price point and with the best current Stock availability. As these are our fastest moving items the Manufacturer, Picture and exact Size may vary then we can second source if necessary to complete orders quickly. Subsequently, although shipping a mix of brands for the same part is rare, it is a possibility.

Be assured we only supply quality Filter Brands from globally recognised Filter Manufacturers, we do NOT supply own branded filters of unknown origin. Our primary Filter source is Baldwin with second sourcing from Fleetguard, Mann, Racor, Parker, Alco, SF Filter, MP Filtri, Solberg and Vokes.

BRAND SPECIFIC PART NUMBERS

These are Brand Specific products so you will receive a genuine Filter of the Brand specified NOT an alternative.

Our full internal Part Numbers for these Brand Specific products have a prefix added to the Manufacturer’s Part Number, this helps us separate them out within our extremely complex database systems: FBW-Baldwin | FFG-Fleetguard | FMH-Mann | FMP-MP Filtri | FPK-Parker | FRC-Racor | FSB-Solberg | FVK-Vokes.

Photographs of Brand Specific filters are supplied by the relevant manufacturer. These product pictures can differ slightly to the product supplied if it happens to be made in one of their other manufacturing plants throughout the world.
