SHIPPING GUIDE

All UK and UK offshore destinations are charged a Flat Rate per consignment so whatever size your order the shipping cost stays the same. Other destinations also have a default Flat Rate but with a Weight/Volume limit so there is a possibility we will need to contact you for an extra shipping payment if necessary, see Conditions below.

Our website runs on a Business to Business Model so we always use a premium Tracked Courier Service to ship orders. If you are ordering a single item it may be more cost effective to use our eBay Shop where we use the post.


FOR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE GREAT BRITAIN

EORI Number / VAT Number / PID Number

If you have an EORI Number, a VAT Number or a PID Number you must include them when registering your address details with us. These numbers are vital for our Couriers to be able to expedite your order through UK, Europe and Worldwide Customs in a timely manner.

Business Customers

  • EORI – All Business customers in Europe must have an EORI number to purchase from us. If you are in Northern Ireland you may need one, if you are in the Channel Islands you do not need one unless you use an HMRC system like CHIEF.
  • VAT – Not all Businesses in Europe have a VAT number but it must be provided if you have one.

Private Individual Customers

  • PID – Personal Identification Number. For private individuals some European and Worldwide countries require your PID number to allow goods through Customs, especially Norway, India and Canary Islands. A PID number must be provided if your country requires it for goods to clear Customs.

Import Duty / Import VAT / Import Tax

Since Brexit happened Import Duty and/or Import VAT may now be payable by some European customers. This is the same Import Duty and Import Tax that has always been in place for our Worldwide customers.

These taxes are charged by your Government as goods pass through Customs so they are not something we are responsible for. Please check your Government’s website for more details.

Due to the worldwide complexity of this issue we cannot yet offer the facility to calculate and take payment for these charges in advance.

Export Incoterms

Incoterms are a set of International Trade Regulations. Our standard Export Incoterms are: DAP-Delivered at Place

Incoterms rules for DAP-Delivered at Place

  • The seller is deemed to have delivered the goods on their arrival at the destination and ready to be unloaded
  • The risk passes from seller to buyer at the destination
  • Any customs clearance fees, import duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer
  • All carriage expenses are paid by seller up to the destination but the unloading cost if any is borne by the buyer *

* This does not mean that we don’t charge carriage, it means we are responsible for paying the Courier/Shipper’s invoice.


RETURNS

Goods shipped from stock can be returned up to 14 days after receipt of order. Just return unwanted goods to us to receive an immediate refund. Please note, any outbound freight charges will not be refunded and items that are ordered in especially for the customer cannot be returned.

CONDITIONS

Delivery schedules above, although usually accurate, cannot be guaranteed and apply to orders placed before 2:00pm where goods are in stock. Orders are shipped on weekdays only and are shipped when they are complete. If there are items that need to be ordered in from our suppliers delivery can take up to 3 working days, any longer and we will advise you of the lead time.

Next Day delivery is now offered as standard to UK Mainland subject to those conditions.

Due to the huge variety in weight and size of our filter products, the wildly differing and fluctuating shipping costs and the fact that courier companies charge by volume as well as by weight these days, it is impossible for our website to calculate the exact freight charge for every order. On top of this certain areas of the world can be very expensive to ship to, so we reserve the right to change our broad based shipping charges if so affected. In these instances we will contact you by email to arrange any further payment.

Shipping charges are separate to the actual price of the goods ordered.
