Inline Filters – A New Era

Welcome to our brand new website and a new era in the history of Inline Filters. Over two and a half years in the making, and through many iterations, we are now proud to present the finished product for our valued customers to utilise and benefit from.

We believe we have given you the best and easiest way to find the many and varied filter products that are available today. Combined with the fact that we stock and have available to order the most comprehensive range of filter products anywhere on the web means we can now comfortably maintain our position as the leading force in UK’s filter industry.

Our Web Centric Path

We are facing challenges like every other business in these difficult times. Since 2007 we committed to spend the bulk of our time and resources on ecommerce website business. Nothing much has changed except our focus on ecommerce is now total. With the onset of Covid the way to market has been altered forever, there is no going back!

Fortunately we have been on a web-centric path for a considerable time now so moving to total reliance on web traffic seemed like a natural progression for us. We are relishing this challenge as are all our staff, everyone is fully involved in the process and looking forward to making it work for ourselves and our customers alike.

Our Commitment To Staff

Our staff are without doubt our most important asset. One of the key topics we focus on is ensuring everybody is happy and able to work together as a team. Anything that hinders that goal is sorted out in staff meetings and group discussions so we can keep that momentum going.

Our New Work Environments

Our Warehouse Goods-In area was actually built a few years ago but we have now added another annexe and have improved the shelving and workspace environment. Also, as part of our carbon footprint recycling policy, we have invested in a new heavy duty cardboard shredding machine to compliment our other cardboard and paper shredders.

After working in a warehouse environment for several years our Sales Team now have their own purpose built ultra modern Office space, Staff Room and Bathroom facilities, with heating provided by Rointe who are renowned for their energy saving technology.

Our Reaction To Covid-19

When Covid-19 hit in 2020 it was a shock to the whole world. We reacted quickly to the ever changing Government advice deciding that the most important thing we can do as a relatively small business is to protect our staff. Again the quality of our website and underlying database saved us again allowing us to close our trade counter in May 2020 and still generate enough business not only to remain viable and keep all staff employed but more importantly to keep everyone safe.

At that point the model of the business had shifted again. We found that not only could we utilise the trade counter and retail space as much more valuable warehouse space but we could also work a lot more efficiently. It transformed our working environment to a place that was now Covid safe and as a bonus gave us the ability to totally focus on our core business of processing website generated orders.

Our Goals

To maintain and improve our position as UK’s leading Filter Specialists. We will keep doing what we’ve been doing since our website went live in 2007, that is to keep putting quality information and data out there for the benefit of our valued customers, as well as most of our competitors and imitators in the filter industry!

And It All Started Here

From early beginnings in 1987 selling filters out of the back of an Escort van we are now UK’s leading Filter Specialists.

Throughout the different phases of this journey one of the core strengths of our business was recognising the need to accumulate quality data and integrate it into our constantly evolving database systems. This has allowed us to adapt to ever changing ways to market and eventually enabled the creation of this latest version of our extremely comprehensive filtration website.

The first Inline Filters website was launched in 2007 and since then the solid design of the site worked well and so stayed fairly constant throughout that period. A change of design was inevitable with constant pressure from Google to be more mobile friendly but it has taken more than two years of hard work from all concerned to get it right and bring this project to fruition.

We are proud to present this latest exciting iteration of our website to our multitude of registered customers who have supported us over the years and to hopefully many new customers who can now enjoy a much more user friendly customised interface to all our products.
